Originally from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdulaziz Almutair earned his medical degree from King Saud University and completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Riyadh. He recently finished a fellowship in lower‑limb arthroplasty and reconstruction at the University of Toronto, where he developed a keen interest in joint preservation and minimally invasive sports procedures.

His clinical interests include joint preservation, shoulder, hip, and knee arthroscopy, joint reconstruction, and sports‑related injuries. During his UTOSM fellowship, Dr. Almutair aims to further refine his arthroscopic skills and broaden his expertise in the comprehensive care of athletes.

Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, playing soccer, exploring AI‑related innovations, and traveling. He looks forward to making the most of his time in Toronto—both in the operating room and while exploring the city’s vibrant culture and scenic surroundings.
