Bandar AhmedMD - SBK fellow associated with UTOSM

Dr. Bandar Al Abra grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his medical school training at King Saud University followed by postgraduate training in Orthopedic Surgery Residency program in Riyadh. Following residency, he has travelled to Canada to pursue his postgraduate training with Fellowship in Lower Extremity Reconstruction and Arthroplasty at the University of Toronto 2020, followed by University of Toronto Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (UTOSM) Fellowship in 2021 and provides team coverage for NBA Raptors 905 Team.

His clinical areas of interest include knee and shoulder arthroscopy, joint preservation, osteotomy/realignment, cartilage restoration and lower extremity joint reconstruction.

In August 2022 Bandar will return to his country upon completion of his fellowship year with UTOSM, he will be joining King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital as an Academic Surgeon.
