Keigo Honoki

Keigo HonokiMD, FRCSC

He was born and raised in Nara, Japan. He completed his undergraduate medical education at Nagoya City University followed by postgraduate training in orthopedic surgery in Sapporo. After completing the orthopaedic residency, he completed the Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Sports Medicine fellowship at Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg, Canada focusing on advanced shoulder and knee surgeries. During his training, he published multiple papers and case reports in the field of upper extremity and sports medicine.In 2024, he joined UTOSM to further expand his knowledge and skills in sports medicine and shoulder/knee surgery.

Upon completion of his fellowship in Canada, he will pursue an advanced shoulder-focused fellowship in Australia and after his fellowship journey, he will return to Japan to start his practice with the main focus on shoulder and elbow reconstructions, and comprehensive treatment of sports-related injuries.

Away from work, he enjoys watching baseball and a variety of sports, traveling and spending time with his three kids.
