Lawrence WengleMD, FRCSC

Lawrence was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. After completing undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario, he attended medical school at University College Cork in Ireland. Lawrence then pursued orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Toronto. Following residency, he completed upper extremity fellowships in Auckland, New Zealand and at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Amr Elmaraghy.

Lawrence is grateful for the opportunity to return to UTOSM and is excited to reunite with his previous mentors. His clinical areas of interest include upper extremity reconstruction and arthroscopy. His primary research interests include surgical education and the production of operative technique videos.
