Norah-Faye MatthiesMD
Norah-Faye Matthies grew up in a small town outside of Coaldale, Alberta. She attended undergraduate training in Biochemistry at the University of Lethbridge for three years while playing varsity soccer for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. Following this, she went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine with Special Training in Research at the University of Alberta, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto.
This is her first fellowship; following her year with UTOSM Norah plans to complete a second fellowship in arthroplasty and trauma at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She hopes to eventually settle into a practice focused on lower extremity sports and arthroplasty. Norah is very excited to be a part of the UTOSM team!
