Samuel LarriveeMD
Samuel grew up in a small farm town in Quebec about 2.5 hours from Montreal. His passion for adventure sports and the desire to continue to work manually in a mentally challenging career lead to his interest in orthopaedic surgery. After a short stop in bio-informatics, he started medical school at the Université de Sherbrooke. He then completed a masters in Health Sciences Research at the same university prior to commencing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He has a research interest in medical education and new technologies as outcome measures after orthopedic surgery. Samuel has an interest in complex knee surgery and hip arthroscopy, and is thrilled to be part of the UTOSM team of fellows.
