Shaddy FuttinyMD, MBBS, FRCSC

Born and raised in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Shaddy completed his medical education at Umm Al-Qura University. Driven by his passion for excellent training and professional growth, he pursued his residency in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery under the mentorship of Professor Gerald Zimmermann in Mannheim, Germany. During this period, he earned his German Board Certification in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, as well as in Sports Medicine.

Throughout his residency and subsequent years of practice in Germany, Shaddy developed a strong interest in arthroscopy, sports injuries, and arthroplasty. Alongside his work in Germany, he also practiced part-time in Dubai until this year, gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical environments and refining his surgical skills.

Shaddy has recently been accepted into the distinguished UTOSM fellowship program in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. He is sincerely grateful for the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty, deepen his expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques, and collaborate with colleagues who share his commitment to excellence in orthopaedic care.
