Dr. Thomas Zochowski grew up in Toronto. He attended Stanford University on an athletic scholarship in swimming, and earned a degree in biomechanical engineering. He competed on the varsity swim team for 4 years and was a member of Canada’s national team for 6 years. Dr. Zochowski then completed a Master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Victoria and following this, his medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto. He has completed a fellowship in adult lower extremity reconstruction at the University Health Network in Toronto as well as a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Zochowski is currently practicing near Toronto at Lakeridge Health with special interest in adult lower extremity reconstruction and trauma.
